Annual Events

Thunder Over Cedar Creek Lake, is a spectacular air show that will entertain and amaze you with aerial acrobatics and an up-close-and-personal experience with the power of a jet fighter. You’ll see an amazing array of both civilian and military aircraft. Last year’s show drew over 40,000 people, and with even more aircraft and performers, this year’s show will be even better! Gun Barrel City July Fest is a music festival held on 4th of July weekend anually. Previous acts have included Vanilla Ice and Kevin Fowler just to name a few! This event also features a carnival for the kids and serveral activities throughout the day with a concert at the ampitheatre and a grand fireworks finally to end the evening.
